Larger than the new Wembley Stadium in England, Soccer City in Johannesburg is the showpiece stadium of the 2010 Fifa World Cup . Designed to resemble an African calabash, the stadium has a crowd capacity of 94 700, and is host to the opening and final matches of the tournament.
