“It will be an exciting meeting,” World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab said of the organisation’s 2014 annual Davos gathering, at a news conference on Wednesday 15 January. “It will be different from last year’s, because it will not be overshadowed by one single crisis.”
Schwab characterised the context of the 2014 meeting by three things: cautious optimism, diminished expectations, and many known unknowns.
